Welcome to Kushog Lake
Your clean, serene family scene.
About Kushog Lake Property Owners Association (KLPOA)
KLPOA is a not-for-profit volunteer-based organization that promotes conservation, preservation and stewardship of our shared environment through education and building community.
Kushog Lake is home - or home away from home - to 500 lakefront properties. We work on behalf of our members to help keep the lake and its surroundings healthy and safe for everyone ... including our nesting loons who lull us to sleep with their calls.
Meet your Board of Directors here.
Become a member of KLPOA
At only $50/year, membership is an incredible value.
KLPOA conducts testing and reports on water quality, educates about how to maintain lake health, throws fun parties and stays in touch with and learns from organizations like the Coalition for Equitable Water Flow (CEWF), the Federation of Ontario Cottagers Associations (FOCA) and the Coalition of Haliburton Associations (CHA) ... all in the interest of preserving Kushog Lake for generations to come.
Click here to pay up or renew ... and thank you!
We'd love to see you at a KLPOA event ... and they're free ...

Wanted: Mystery Banded Snails
Let us know if you spot them at your property.
What are float homes?
Well, they're not vessels and that's how they're currently regulated by Transport Canada. No property tax, no emergency services and no restrictions on where they can set up. To learn more about what you can do to help get them properly regulated, send us an email.
