About Kushog Lake Property Owners Association (KLPOA)

KLPOA is a not-for-profit volunteer-based organization that promotes conservation, preservation and stewardship of our shared environment through education and building community. Kushog Lake is home - or home away from home - to 500 lakefront properties. We work on behalf of our members to help keep the lake and its surroundings healthy and safe for everyone ... including our nesting loons who lull us to sleep with their calls. The Ontario government funded program that has provided equipment for our volunteers to conduct regular water testing since 2002 is in danger of being ended. Well, they're not vessels and that's how they're currently regulated by Transport Canada. No property tax, no emergency services and no restrictions on where they can set up. To learn more about what you can do to help get them properly regulated, send us an email.
